Rhian Sherrington - Alchemy for the Mind: Create Your Confident Core

Friday 7th November 2014 6pm - 7:45pm Bristol, Foyles, 6 Quakers Friars, Cabot Circus, Bristol, BS1 3BU Literary Event, Free Event

To celebrate the launch of her new book, Alchemy for the Mind: Create Your Confident Core, Bristol-based career coach Rhian Sherrington will be exploring what it takes to build a flourishing life - one that is rich in meaning, accomplishment, happiness and social connection, as well as financial reward.

In Alchemy for the Mind, Rhian presents an engaging blend of evidence from neuroscience and positive psychology, illustrated with real life case studies, to show why confidence can be such a barrier to success. The book sets out straightforward strategies for recognizing and challenging negative self-talk and nurturing inner confidence. As levels of depression and anxiety disorders increase around the world, developing such strategies that can lower your risk and increase resilience should be on everyones agenda.

Join Rhian, along with Alchemy for the Mind contributor Nicky Marshall, for stimulating discussion, live music and refreshments.
