Battle of Ideas - Riots and revolutions: Europe’s young radicals?

Monday 8th October 2012 6:30pm - 7:30pm 107 Charing Cross Road Chargeable Event

From Occupy through to Spain's Indignacios, there is a growing sense that Europe's young people risk being doomed by the current economic crisis unless they unite and fight back. And yet, last summer's riots in the UK and the spectre of a far-right renaissance across the continent offer a warning of where ill-directed anger can lead. Should we be looking forward to a European Spring, or is it more a case of hope springs eternal?

Venue: the Gallery at Foyles, Third Floor, 113 - 119 Charing Road, London WC2H 0EB
Tickets: £7.50/5.00 via www.battleofideas.org.uk or call 020 7269 9220
