Concise Advice Student Series: Storytelling and Presentations Masterclass

Wednesday 5th October 2016 3pm - 4:30pm Cabot Circus, Bristol Literary Event, Chargeable Event

UNFORTUNATELY, DUE TO UNFORSEEN CIRCUMSTANCES THIS EVENT IS NOW CANCELLED. We’ve teamed up with LID Publishing to host a series of self-improvement events led by experts in business, finance and well-being. Storytelling and Presentations is the first of those masterclasses.

Want to improve your presentation skills or just get better at articulating yourself? Come along to this masterclass on Storytelling with lecturer and strategist, Anthony ‘Tas’ Tasgal.

Most students now have to write, present and communicate for their lives. Yet we all operate in a world that is DRIP - Data Rich, Insight Poor - where everyone wants to get their message across, but no one has time to listen.

Tas explores why we need to re-story our presentations and documents, and how to set about doing it by putting the ‘author’ back in “authority” and restoring the emotional power of storytelling in our presentations and communications.

As well as a trainer and strategist, Tas is a Lecturer on advertising, communications and presentation and each year watches and marks hundreds of student presentations.

Learn how to create engaging and effective presentations as well as taking away some helpful tips on being the best communicator you can.
