Reviews

This was a great evening, full of spice (in words and actual spices to try from Mr Todiwala's large wooden Spice Box) and stories, presented beautifully, again. by the great Julia Leonard. Cyrus and Chetna made a great double act and I learnt a huge deal about my own tastes while learning about how they grew up and discovered their passion for flavour. It was interesting to learn about Cyrus's hard decisions to whittle down the book's chosen 10 spices and to hear more from Chetna about the direction her life has gone in post-Bake Off - on both accounts, extremely well and the small but attentive audience warmed to them well. The signing was a great opportunity to chat to them both and the venue, as always, was perfect for the occasion - looking forward to the next one enormously.
