Bruno D'Ambra / Giulio Martino Duo

Thursday 1st March 2012 6pm - 7pm 107 Charing Cross Road Ray's Jazz Event, Free Event

Bruno D'Ambra is a pianist and composer renowned for his sensitive playing, a style deeply rooted in the jazz tradition but with a profound sense of melody derived from the rich musicality of his native Naples. Guilio Martino is one of the most respected saxophonists in Italy, whose rich tone and fluid phrasing have gained him the praise of Michael Brecker, who wrote liner notes for Giulio's duo recording with New York pianist Peggy Stern. The duo's performance this evening will blend original compositions with reinvented standards.

Line Up:
Bruno D'Ambra - Piano
Giulio Martino - Tenor Sax

Venue: The Café at Foyles
Tickets: Free, no need to book. Just come along.
