Aimua Eghobamien Quartet - Album Launch

Wednesday 6th April 2011 6pm - 7pm 107 Charing Cross Road Ray's Jazz Event

Poured Gently is the debut album from Aimua Eghobamien, and combines fresh and unusual arrangements of jazz and pop standards from Ellington, Monk, Gershwin and Stevie Wonder with haunting and melodic original compositions. Eghobamien will be joined by his long-time collaborator, New York-based pianist, composer and arranger Glafkos Kontemeniotis, along with stellar musicians Jerome Davies on double Bass and Rod Youngs on drums.
