Foyles x ELCAF: Springboard 2017

Saturday 10th June 2017 3pm - 6pm 107 Charing Cross Road Free Event

Foyles x ELCAF is a new collaboration which sees the UK’s largest independent bookshop teaming up with the East London Comic & Arts Festival to celebrate some of the best creative talent in the UK.

This year, we open our doors in Chelmsford, London, Birmingham and Bristol to host a series of workshops, talks and one-to-one meetings with illustrators, comic artists and experts in the field. Curated by ELCAF, this eclectic programme aims to celebrate the dynamic work of artists that are making waves in the UK’s independent comic, narrative art and illustration scene.

ELCAF and Foyles are proud to facilitate the opportunity for young creatives in comics and illustration to get their foot in the door with Springboard.

Now in its second year, the Springboard meetings provide the chance for young creatives to meet industry experts, show their work, ask questions and gain insight into the professional creative industries.

Each expert is available for an hour, divided into 15 minute slots. Booking you slot is simple and free! You can book your place via the ELCAF Website here. Be sure to get in quick as spaces fill up fast.

The full list of industry professionals involved is yet to be announced.

If you have any questions, please e-mail events@foyles.co.uk.
