Jon Klassen

About The Author

Jon KlassenJon Klassen is an illustrator and animation artist. Originally from Niagara Falls, Canada, he currently lives in Los Angeles. He was an illustrator on the animated film Coraline and provided the illustrations for the book series The Incorrigible Children of Ashton Place (due to be published in the UK in February 2012). His illustrations for Caroline Stutson's Cats Night Out won the Governor General Award in 2010.

I Want My Hat Back is the first book he has both written and illustrated. Told completely in dialogue, this delicious take on a classic cumulative tale plays out in fresh illustrations laced with visual humour -- and winks at the reader with a wry irreverence that will have kids of all ages thrilled to be in on the joke. Two more books in the series are to follow.
