SOLD OUT! Georgian London: Into the Streets History Walk with Lucy Inglis

Saturday 21st September 2013 3pm - 4pm 107 Charing Cross Road Literary Event, Chargeable Event

SORRY, THIS EVENT IS NOW SOLD OUT On this guided walk around Soho and Covent Garden, Lucy Inglis takes us back to the period where the London we know today was forged. A city of dukes and artists, rent boys and hot air balloonists, living in the age of sex and art, great ambition and fantastic ruin: Georgian London is brought gloriously to life in Lucy's new book, Georgian London: Into the Streets. Experience a taste of this riotous time in the life of the city, on an hour-long stroll that takes in the original Gin Lane and reveals hidden histories in the streets we walk down every day.

Venue: Meet at the Café at Foyles for a complementary tea/coffee and croissant before setting out.
Tickets: SOLD OUT
