The New Art of Making: A Price & Myers and Futurecity panel

Thursday 28th January 2016 7pm - 8:30pm 107 Charing Cross Road Chargeable Event

To tie in with our Gallery exhibition, The New Art of Making, we're hosting this panel event with engineering practice Price & Myers and Gallery curators Futurecity to discuss the world of digital creativity and practice in the 21st century.

How we build our world is changing. A revolution is underway in making and building art and architecture, with technology now allowing us to create and make with an unprecedented freedom. This emerging practice is digital craftsmanship – a radical new practice of rendering sculptural form, blurring the line between artist, designer and maker. This approach to making offers limitless possibilities, but challenges as well.

Chair: Caroline Cole, Colander Associates

Panel Members:
Richard Wilson, Artist
Mark Davy, Futurecity
Tim Lucas, Price & Myers
Ralph Parker, Price & Myers
Maria Smith, Interrobang
