Picnic Party and Cupcake Decorating with Luisa Plaja: Diary of a Mall Girl

Saturday 6th July 2013 1:30pm - 2:30pm Westfield White City, Foyles Unit 2054, Westfield, White City, London, W12 7GE Literary Event, Children's Event, Free Event

Take a break from your Saturday shopping and come along to our Picnic Party where you can meet top author Luisa Plaja, hear more about her amazing new book, Diary of a Mall Girl, and try your hand at cupcake decorating.

Diary of a Mall Girl follows the story of Molly, a teenager who actually lives in a shopping centre, and discovers that life in a mall isn't as straightforward as you might think. Luisa will tell you about how she became an author, how she dreamt up the new book and answer any questions you have.

While you indulge your book-ish side, you can also nibble on the delicious picnic treats on offer and decorate your own cupcakes with sprinkles, glitter and icing.

So, go on, let your inner book goddess free and stuff your mouth with cakes at the same time! The Party is free for anyone to join, but particularly recommended for girls aged 9+. There's no need to book - just turn up!
