Neil Spring - The Ghost Hunters

Tuesday 22nd October 2013 6:30pm - 7:30pm 107 Charing Cross Road Literary Event, Free Event

The year is 1926 and the place is Borley Rectory - the most haunted house in England. Into this infamous setting, with its tales of spectral nuns and flying furniture, comes legendary ghost hunter Harry Price: charming, neurotic, manipulative, and with a point to prove. Initially convinced he faces yet another case of smoke and mirrors, things take a turn for the unexpected as night falls and Harry and his assistant are forced to doubt their own instinctive scepticism.

Based on real events and historical testimonies, The Ghost Hunters is the thrilling debut novel from Neil Spring. Tonight he comes to Foyles (where we've had our own share of ghostly goings-on) to reveal the spine-tingling true stories behind the equally spine-tingling fiction.

Tickets: FREE, but please reserve your place by emailing

Venue: The Gallery at Foyles, 113 - 119 Charing Cross Road
