Winshluss - Pinocchio

Tuesday 29th March 2011 9:30am - Saturday 9th April 2011 6pm 107 Charing Cross Road Exhibition

Winshluss is the French comic artist, best known for co-writing and co-directing, the highly acclaimed animated film Persepolis. His new book is a retelling of one of our greatest fairy tales, Pinocchio, but with a very modern twist. Pinocchio is no longer the sweet wooden boy but a robot-like android, Jiminy-cricket is a cockroach and Monstro has become a toxic, giant mutated fish in a much darker and richer version than Disney's. This exhibition of original artwork will fascinate and enchant both children and adults alike.
