Our choice for this month's book club is The Last Picture Show by Larry McMurty. The Last Picture Show is a delicately drawn coming-of-age tale in which two teenage boys navigate love and sex in small-town Texas. With a strong sense of place and a perfect evocation of youthful frustration, it is a classic of mid-20th-century American fiction. The Book Club meets at The Goldhawk on Goldhawk Rd on the last Tuesday of every month.
