World Book Day Celebration: Alice's Adventures in Wonderland

Saturday 7th March 2015 11:30am - 12:30 Noon 107 Charing Cross Road Children's Event, Free Event

The time has come, the walrus said, to celebrate World Book Day 2015 with the Mad Hatter and his curiouser and curiouser re-telling of Lewis Carroll's classic children's book Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.

You'll be taken on a delicious journey down the rabbit hole to find out why a raven really is like a writing desk, plus you'll also have the chance to create your very own watch, one so dandy you'll make the White Rabbit hopping mad with jealousy.

All residents of Wonderland are welcome, so come along dressed as a Gryphon, March Hare or your favourite children's book character - not only will you make the Cheshire Cat smile but you'll also take home an exclusive Alice in Wonderland goody bag too, courtesy of Macmillan books.

Suitable for ages 3+. All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Tickets: Free but booking is recommended - email events@foyles.co.uk to reserve your place(s).

Also at Westfield Stratford at 2.30 and 3.30pm: details here
