Pick up a slice of pizza and a drink as we settle down for a night of new literature with three up-and-coming authors as they discuss their process, the road to publication and what lies beyond.
We have teamed up with Vintage once again to offer you a showcase of some of the best new talent in fiction this year. Whether you're a budding writer yourself or simply interested in the creative processes of others, the focus of the night is on discovering new voices in contemporary literature, providing insight into how these authors write and what it's like to be an author at the start of your career.
Joining us on the night: Bristol based writer and award-winning journalist Emily Koch who, inspired by a life changing personal injury has written the highly anticipated psychological crime thriller If I Die Before I Wake; Imogen Hermes Gowar with her highly sought-after tale of sex, ambition and obsession set on the streets of Georgian London The Mermaid And Mrs. Hancock; and a riveting and heart-warming tale of sisterly love across ages set between the Japanese occupation of Korea and 2011, White Chrysanthemum by Mary Lynn Bracht.
The authors will be joined by host of the Vintage Podcast, journalist and broadcaster Alex Clark.
