Alberto Manguel, in conversation with Maya Jaggi

Wednesday 10th November 2010 - 6:30pm 107 Charing Cross Road Literary Event

Internationally renowned and highly prolific Argentinean writer, translator and author Alberto Manguel is with us this evening to discuss his new novel, All Men Are Liars, in which a French journalist attempts to shed light on the mysterious death years earlier of a brilliant South American writer. The differing views of the man by his former lover, a former fellow prison inmate and even Alberto Manguel himself make defining the truth a complex matter. An unmissable evening with one of international literature's greats. Maya Jaggi is an award-winning cultural journalist and critic, whose arts profiles and reviews appear in the Guardian Review, Financial Times, Independent and Economist, among other publications.
