Contemporary Russian Fantastical Fiction with Sergei Lukyanenko and Dmitry Glukhovsky

Thursday 14th April 2011 6:30pm - 7:30pm 107 Charing Cross Road Literary Event

Russian literature has often toyed with the boundaries of reality, and its SF and fantasy have pushed those lines even further. On the 50th anniversary of Yuri Gagarin's flight into space, two pioneering writers of the future fiction genre make a rare visit to the UK. Join us in the Foyles Gallery as Sergei Lukyanenko (Night Watch creator) and Dmitry Glukhovsky (Metro 2033) open a portal into their strange and wondrous universes.
This event is supported by the British Council and Academia Rossica as part of the Russia Market Focus 2011 cultural programme at The London Book Fair.

The Gallery at Foyles, Third Floor
