Stephen Unwin Masterclass - The Well-Read Play

Saturday 14th May 2011 11am - 3pm 107 Charing Cross Road Literary Event

Award-winning director Stephen Unwin has worked with legendary actors including Tilda Swinton, Alan Cumming and Sam West throughout his illustrious career. In this afternoon's workshop he'll share his secrets of theatre-directing in an informal setting, involving group discussions and shared readings of Chekhov, Ibsen and Shakespeare. A must for students, actors, directors and theatre lovers.

11 am - Welcome and talk by Steve
11.45 am - Group discussion and shared readings - texts to include Ibsen, Chekhov and Shakespeare
12.45 pm - Lunch break
1.30 pm - Discussion of insights from text 2.30 pm - Open discussion about text*
