SOLD OUT! The Arts in Britain - A C Grayling, Christopher Frayling, Mick Gordon

Tuesday 7th June 2011 6:30pm - 7:30pm 107 Charing Cross Road Literary Event

Britain's achievements in the field of arts and humanities are many, varied and illustrious, but how dependent are they on government subsidy? Recent decisions to cut public spending on arts and education have occasioned fierce and widespread debate on the future of the arts and their importance to the rest of society. To explore these questions and more, join award-winning historian and broadcaster Christopher Frayling, philosopher and academic A C Grayling, and theatre director and playwright Mick Gordon, for what promises to be an absorbing and informative debate on one of contemporary Britain's most pressing political issues.
