Spitalfields Market Portraits Exhibition - Photographs of antiques market traders by Jeremy Freedman
In 2010 the East End culture blog www.spitalfieldslife.com published a weekly series of profiles telling the stories of the traders in the Spitalfields Antiques Market accompanied with vibrant images by photographer Jeremy Freedman. The result is a distinguished body of portraiture, recording the diverse personalities who come together to create London's pre-eminent weekly antiques market.
A handsome new book entitled Spitalfields Life has now been published alongside the profiles, written by The Gentle Author and published by Saltyard Books - an imprint of Hodder & Stoughton. The Café at Foyles is delighted to host an exhibition celebrating the book's release.

Opening Hours: 4th -31st May (Mon - Sat 9am - 9pm, Sun 10am - 6pm)
