David Lindo - Bird Watching Walk - The Urban Birder: Uncle Birds and Jedi Knights
With over seven million people, London is Europe's largest city. And yet, with all this frenetic human activity, it remains one of the world's greenest cities, with parks, woodlands and the River Thames. This afternoon, self-styled Urban Birder David Lindo reveals more about the birds that share our city, and points out some of the nesting sites along the way. David's guided walk begins in the Cafe at Foyles with a complementary hot beverage and a croissant, and finishes back at the Cafe. If you have a pair of binoculars do bring them along, and as always, please do dress for British weather.
David Lindon appears regularly on BBC1's The One Show and writes a column for BBC Wildlife magazine.
