EXCLUSIVE LONDON EVENT Peter Hook - Unknown Pleasures

Tuesday 2nd October 2012 6:30pm - 7:30pm 107 Charing Cross Road Literary Event, Music Event

Peter Hook's music has defined an era and inspired a generation. Joy Division, the band started by Hook in the aftermath of punk with Bernard Sumner and legendary vocalist Ian Curtis, went on to fashion a dark, hypnotic, intense sound and aesthetic that continues to influence alternative music over 30 years later. In Unknown Pleasures, Hook relays the inside story of life with Joy Division with eye-opening candour and reflection - which he'll give us a taste of at tonight's event. Peter will be in conversation with journalist and broadcaster Miranda Sawyer.

Venue: the Café at Foyles, First Floor, 113 - 119 Charing Road, London WC2H 0EB
Tickets: SORRY - SOLD OUT!
