Laydeez Do Comics with Joff Winterhart, Hannah Berry and Rosie Faragher

Monday 8th April 2013 6pm - 7:45pm Bristol, Foyles, 6 Quakers Friars, Cabot Circus, Bristol, BS1 3BU Literary Event, Free Event

Since its launch in 2009 by Nicola Streeten and Sarah Lightman, Laydeez Do Comics has been the UK's leading women-led graphic novel forum. Its focus is on domestic and autobiographical narratives and the drama of the everyday, and its social evenings provide a friendly and inspiring atmosphere for emerging artists and established practitioners to test new works and ideas.

Foyles are excited to host this Laydeez Do Comics event - the first in our Bristol branch - this April, with graphic novelists Joff Winterhart and Hannah Berry, and LOAf Magazine co-founder Rosie Faragher.

All are welcome - men and women, those with no knowledge of comics and those already immersed. Wine, beer and home-baked cakes are served too!

Books will be on sale from Foyles with authors available for signing from 5pm before the event.

This event is free but booking is essential. Please visit to reserve a place.
