Amanita Jazz

Wednesday 22nd May 2013 6pm - 7pm 107 Charing Cross Road Ray's Jazz Event, Free Event

In keeping with their roots in Southern Italy, Amanita Jazz's music is permeated with Mediterranean sounds, accompanied by a restless feeling of melancholy and an asymmetrical and energetic rhythmic texture. Alongside original compositions, their repertoire encompasses more unexpected delights, including reinterpretations of 'Enjoy the Silence' by Depeche Mode and 'Message in a Bottle' by The Police. Tonight the trio will be performing material from their debut album, Gente A Sud.
