CANCELLED Laura Dockrill - Darcy Burdock

Saturday 22nd June 2013 11:30am - 12:30 Noon 107 Charing Cross Road Literary Event, Children's Event, Free Event

Meet the wild, dark and colourful brain of Laura Dockrill and her equally colourful creation Darcy Burdock. Just like Laura, Darcy is a fantastic storyteller (but unlike Laura, Darcy is a ten-year-old girl with a pet lamb called Lamb-Beth). Laura - who as well as telling stories likes to write poems, draw pictures, and perform at the UK's biggest festivals - will entertain the audience with readings of Darcy's own stories, on everything from amorous octopuses to human pancakes. An extra-interactive Q&A session follows, where you can put your questions to Laura (and she can put hers to you). Suitable for children aged 7+
