Foyles Book Club – The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath

Tuesday 30th July 2013 7:30pm - 8:30pm Bush Theatre Literary Event, Free Event

Sylvia Plath's only novel is one of the most important feminist novels of the 20th century. Telling the story of Esther Greenwood and her journey from mid-century New York socialite to her slow descent into mental illness, the story closely parallels Plath's own life and her experiences at McClean Hospital.
The book club meets on the last Tuesday of every month at the Bush Theatre. If you'd like to attend or have any queries, please contact Adam at adam.howard@foyles.co.uk.
