The Crocodile Who Didn’t Like Water: Storytelling with author Gemma Merino

Thursday 29th August 2013 2pm - 3pm Westfield Stratford City Children's Event, Free Event

Everybody knows that crocodiles love water, but this little crocodile is different. He doesn't like water at all. In fact, he prefers climbing trees! But it can be lonely when you're the odd one out, so the little crocodile tries his best to change. But being wet isn't for everyone -- and a shiver soon becomes a cold and the cold becomes a sneeze, a very hot sneeze...Could it be that this little crocodile isn't a crocodile at all? He might just be a DRAGON!

The Crocodile Who Didn't Like Water is a funny, unique and uplifting story from debut author-illustrator Gemma Merino, who we're excited to welcome to our cosy children's department for a special storytelling event this summer. Listen as Gemma tells the story of this very unique little crocodile, and then answers your questions - plus get your book signed before delving further into the crocodile's story with some colouring in.
