LOAf Magazine Launch: Issue 2

Tuesday 27th August 2013 2pm - 4pm Bristol, Foyles, 6 Quakers Friars, Cabot Circus, Bristol, BS1 3BU Literary Event, Children's Event, Free Event

LOAf is a publication aimed at 8-13 year-olds, jam-packed with comics, stories, puzzles and more. LOAf is dedicated to creating a place where the imaginings of brilliant emerging and established illustrators, writers and narrative artists are collected for children to read and enjoy. More than that: it's a magazine where children come up with many of the stories and characters at our drawing workshops.

Join Rosie Faragher, creator of LOAf, as we launch the magazine's second issue, with its sunny, summery theme of 'friends', at Foyles. Whether you're a big kid or a little adult, join in to invent and draw a home for LOAf man and pals, and create new stories and characters for LOAfland. Some of your artwork may end up in issue 3, which will be themed around the 'future'.

This event and workshop is free and there's no need to book, just turn up! The event is aimed at children aged 8-13, but anyone is welcome to join in. For any enquiries about the event or the magazine, contact Rosie at loaf.magazine@gmail.com.
