Tony Bevan

Tuesday 22nd October 2013 6pm - 7pm 107 Charing Cross Road Ray's Jazz Event, Music Event, Free Event

Described as 'the world's greatest improvising bass saxophonist' by Time Out, Tony Bevan is an experimental-music talisman and long-standing fixture on the British and international avant garde scene. Having worked with a huge array of players over the years, including extensively with Sunny Murray and David Bailey, as well as Fourtet, Tony Buck (of The Necks) , Matthew Bourne, Steve Reid and J-Spaceman/Spiritualised (he is a featured soloist on their latest album) this evening he takes the stage alone with his bass saxophone for what promises to be a highlight of the Ray's autumn calendar.
