EFG London Jazz Festival - Tomorrow's Warriors Present: Ezra with Special Guest Femi Temowo

Wednesday 20th November 2013 6pm - 7pm 107 Charing Cross Road Ray's Jazz Event, Free Event

Ezra Collective is a quintet with its roots in the Tomorrow's Warriors Young Artist Development Programme at Southbank Centre. They first appeared on the jazz radar with their success at Cheltenham Jazz Festival, winning the Yamaha Jazz Experience competition for young musicians in 2012. Since then they have played at various venues and festivals around the UK including Ronnie Scott's and the London Jazz Festival.

Joining them this evening is MOBO-nominated guitarist Femi Temowo who fuses Afrobeat and Bebop into a unique style all his own and who has worked with a huge array of artists from Soweto Kinch and Courtney Pine to Amy Winehouse and The Roots.
