London at Dawn and Paris at Dawn reveal a vision of the capitals rarely seen by their inhabitants. The dawn hours, particularly in summer, are often a hidden time, a moment of quiet in these exhaustingly busy cities, and these moments have been captured by fine art photographer Anthony Epes in two stunning new collections, which include forewords by Stephen Fry and John Bird.
To mark the launch of Paris at Dawn, and the publication of the revised and updated edition of London at Dawn, Anthony Epes presents a unique exhibition at St Pancras International, with both books exclusively for sale at Foyles. At this book signing, you can meet Anthony, find out more about his photography and the Paris and London at Dawnprojects, and get your books signed in the stunning surroundings of London's most beautiful rail station.
Anthony Epes is a fine art and commercial photographer from California who has been based in London since being commissioned for his first book London at Dawn in collaboration with John Bird, founder of The Big Issue. Anthony has exhibited widely in the UK as well as in the US and Japan and has a growing number of private collectors of his work. His work has been featured in French Photo magazine, The Guardian, Evening Standard, Digital Photographer, Time Out and many other international and national publications. Last year, he launched a series of Cities at Dawn photo workshops in London, Paris and Venice in which he shares the magic of dawn to other keen photographers.
The exhibition runs from Wednesday 16th October - Wednesday 30th October and is located on The Arcade in St Pancras International Station, Euston Road, London, N1C 4QP.
10% of the net proceeds from the book and print sales are being donated to The Big Issue Foundation.
