SIGNING: Chris Hadfield - An Astronaut's Guide to Life

Wednesday 15th January 2014 12:30 Noon - 1:30pm 107 Charing Cross Road Literary Event, Free Event

As Commander of the International Space Station, Chris Hadfield conducted ground-breaking scientific experiments and oversaw an emergency spacewalk. But what really fired the imaginations of millions of us down here on Earth were his beautiful photos, his insights into life in space and, of course, his spine-tingling zero-gravity rendition of David Bowies Space Oddity. Now retired from flying shuttle and Soyuz missions, he shares what hes learned about life up there and down here in An Astronauts Guide to Life.

On Wednesday 15th January, from 12.30-1.30pm, there's a rare chance to meet the man who inspired a million dreams of going into space at Foyles, Charing Cross Road, as he signs copies of his book.

PLUS everyone who books their FREE places in the Priority Signing Queue will be entered into a draw to win a very special signed and framed photo taken by Chris in space.

Just email no later than 6pm on Tuesday 14th January and take your place in the queue no later than noon on the day to be entered into the draw. Chris Hadfield will pick the winner at 12.30.

Tickets: The Priority Signing Queue is now closed. You are welcome to queue on the day but please note that we cannot now guarantee that you will be able to have your book signed.

Venue: Foyles, 113-119 Charing Cross Road, London WC2H 0EB
