Delve into the shadows, both supernatural and historical, in an evening with two acclaimed authors and one highly regarded debut novelist.
Deborah Harkness presents The Book of Life, the stunning climax to her bestselling All Souls trilogy, set in a world of witches, daemons and vampires, where a lost manuscript holds the key to unlocking the past.
'Queen of the Dark Ages' Karen Maitland discusses her new novel The Vanishing Witch, which explores themes of treachery, superstition, myths and magic against the turbulent backdrop of the Peasants' Revolt.
Completing the line-up is Katherine Clements, who made her fiction debut in this year with The Crimson Ribbon. Set during the English Civil War, it's an engrossing novel of radical religious sects, the persecution of witches and revolutionary political ideas, described as 'impressive and inspirational' by Alison Weir.
