Vintage New Writers Evening

Thursday 23rd October 2014 7pm - 8:30pm 107 Charing Cross Road Literary Event, Free Event

Ever on the hunt for new literary voices, in this first of a new format event we bring together a panel of up-and-coming authors and an audience of readers to explore the road to publication and what lies beyond.

Join us for pizza and a drink as we settle down to listen to a selection of new writers discuss their work and how they secured industry support, then get ready to ask your own questions! Whether you're a budding writer yourself or simply interested in others' creative processes, the focus of the night is on providing insight into how these authors write and what it's like to be an author at the start of your career.

Working with Vintage Books, we're very pleased to announce that tonight's authors will include Eva Dolan, debut author of celebrated crime fiction novel Long Way Home, Nicci Cloke, a new writer for Vintage who will talk about her new book, Lay Me Down (pub Feb 2015) and Hermione Eyre, whose historical fiction debut Viper Wine has been lauded as 'wickedly funny'. Chairing the event will be Guardian journalist Alex Clark.

Venue: The Auditorium at Foyles, Level 6, 107 Charing Cross Road

Tickets: SORRY - SOLD OUT!
