Jona David: Epic Eco-Inventions

Saturday 13th June 2015 2:30pm - 4:10pm Bristol, Foyles, 6 Quakers Friars, Cabot Circus, Bristol, BS1 3BU Children's Event, Free Event

Join nine-year-old Jona David, author of The Epic Eco-Inventions, for an inspiring and entertaining eco-inventions workshop and reading.

The Epic Eco-Inventions is the first book in UN/World Future Council's Voices of Future Generations book series, where a "mad-genius" boy and his younger brother triumph over bullying through creativity, intuition and love. The story gives a refreshingly optimistic and simple child's-eye view on environmental issues, world peace, children's rights and justice through Jona David's delightful narrative and the humorous illustrations of Dr Carol Adlam.

Voices of Future Generations ( aims to give children worldwide a platform to express how they see their future in terms of their environment and their rights to education, good health and justice. Voices of Future Generations is a not-for-profit project where all books in the series are and will be written by children for children.

Tickets: This event is free; however, booking is recommended - email to reserve your place(s).
