Tinder Press New Writers Evening

Wednesday 10th June 2015 7pm - 8pm 107 Charing Cross Road Literary Event, Free Event

Ever on the hunt for new literary voices, we bring together a panel of authors and an audience of readers to explore the road to publication and what lies beyond.

As part of the celebrations to mark our first anniversary in the sparkling 107 Charing Cross Road, join us for pizza and a drink as we settle down to listen to a selection of writers discussing the development of their work and how they secured industry support—then get ready to ask your own questions! Whether you're a budding writer yourself or simply interested in others' creative processes, the focus of the night is on discovering new voices in contemporary literature, providing insight into how these authors write and what it's like to be an author at the start of your career.

Working with Tinder Press, we're very pleased to announce that tonight's authors will be Sarah Leipciger (The Mountain Can Wait) and Sarah Winman (A Year of Marvellous Ways, When God was a Rabbit). Providing the perspective of an established author this evening will be Maggie O’Farrell (Instructions for a Heatwave, The Hand That First Held Mine), whose hugely successful 2000 debut After You'd Gone stormed bestseller lists. Chairing the event will be journalist and broadcaster Anita Sethi.

Venue: The Auditorium, Level 6

Tickets: Free. To reserve, simply add the required number of tickets to the basket below.

Please note that no physical tickets will be issued; the email confirmation you will receive is proof of your booking.
