Friday 4th September 2015 6:30pm - 10pm Bristol, Foyles, 6 Quakers Friars, Cabot Circus, Bristol, BS1 3BU Literary Event, Free Event

Longlisted for the Guardian's Not the Booker Prize, The Artificial Anatomy of Parks follows the story of 21-year-old Tallulah Park, a waitress from North London, whose life is spun on its axis when her estranged father has a heart attack. Tallulah hasn't seen him or the rest of her family in five years and before long is forced to learn the hard way about damage and betrayal.

Kat Gordon read English at Somerville College, Oxford and received a Distinction in her Creative Writing Masters from Royal Holloway. She has been a gymnastics coach, a theatre usher, a nanny and a researcher, and has worked for Time Out.

Kat will be discussing the inspiration behind her novel, followed by a short Q&A with the audience. She will also be signing copies of the book at the end of the event.
