From the Moon to the Ocean Deep

Friday 3rd June 2016 3pm - 4pm Grand Central Birmingham Children's Event, Free Event

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO UNFORSEEN CIRCUMSTANCES. Create, colour and draw your way through this sea and space adventure inspired by character artist Sarah Yoon and the world’s longest, craziest colouring books!

As a child Sarah Yoon became intrigued with Batman and Superman comics and the world of visual arts. Fast forward a dozen years and Sarah began to dream up, draw and paint her own imaginative character art.

Our giant adventure is based on Sarah Yoon’s wonderfully unique children’s colouring books, To the Moon and To the Ocean Deep. Remarkably, each colouring book stretches over 15ft, and is filled with sea dragons, aqua robots, space ports and elephants, to inspire your own creations.

Learn how to draw fantastic sea-creatures, enjoy a colourful space race and create your own space mission badge to take home with this creative workshop led by Laurence King Publishers.

Venue: Foyles, Grand Central Birmingham, B2 4BF

Tickets: Free via RSVP. Please email to book a place.
