SOLD OUT Cocktail Making Workshop with Lonely Planet and Exquisite Cocktails

Saturday 14th May 2016 5pm - 7:30pm 107 Charing Cross Road Chargeable Event

SORRY, SOLD OUT. To celebrate their new guide to The World's Best Drinks, Foyles have teamed up with Lonely Planet to offer a unique cocktail-making workshop exclusively to our Foyalty members.

In the relaxed setting of our Auditorium, learn how to make some of the most delicious cocktails from all four corners of the globe. From the people who have been delivering trustworthy guidebooks to every destination in the world for 40 years, Lonely Planet’s World’s Best Drinks is your passport to the planet’s best tipples and soft drinks.

The expert mixologists from Exquisite Cocktails will talk you through how to make cocktails from the book, including a sophisticated cosmopolitan, a zesty Cuban capirinha, an Italian negroni and a classic espresso martini, as well as learning about their origins and nuances. After that, you'll be given the chance to show off your own mixology skills by creating your own unique cocktail. And you'll of course get to taste your creations too!

So if you've ever wondered "shaken or stirred?" or gotten into a muddle with your mixers, this is the event for you. Take the spirit of experimentation home with you on the day by redeeming the price of your ticket against a copy of The World’s Best Drinks, so that you can recreate the exciting tastes of your travels in your own home and discover some lesser-known refreshments from across the globe.

This event is exclusive to our Foyalty members, but signing up to Foyalty is free and simple. If you're interested in joining our club to be the first to find out about exclusive offers such as this, please visit
