Independent Bookshop Week: Love In A Bookshop

Tuesday 21st June 2016 6:30pm - 8pm Cabot Circus, Bristol Literary Event, Free Event

Celebrate Independent Bookshop Week with this Literary Reception Evening featuring bestselling authors Veronica Henry and Jill Mansell.

To mark the 10th anniversary of Independent Bookshop Week, Veronica and Jill will be talking about their first bookshop experiences, their love of reading and introducing their new books, How To Find Love in a Bookshop and You and Me, Always.

Author Veronica Henry was a scriptwriter for The Archers, Heartbeat and Holby City before she turned to fiction. She won the 2014 RNA Novel of the Year Award for A Night on the Orient Express. Her new novel, How to Find Love In a Bookshop, is the delightful story of Emilia's fight to keep her book shop alive, the customers whose lives she has touched - and the books they all love.

Jill Mansell is the author of over twenty Sunday Times bestsellers including her latest novel You and Me, Always, The One You Really Want and Three Amazing Things About You. Take a Chance On Me won the Romantic Novelists' Association's Romantic Comedy Prize, and in 2015 the RNA presented Jill with an outstanding achievement award.

Meet these talented writers, share a passion for independent bookstores and enjoy a complimentary glass of wine with this relaxing and entertaining evening.

Venue: Foyles, Cabot Circus Bristol, BS1 3BH
