Ray's Jazz present Frank Griffith and Keith Nichols

Friday 17th June 2016 7pm - 8:30pm 107 Charing Cross Road Ray's Jazz Event

In a change to the initially announced performance by Matt Cooper we will instead feature a performance by fellow Ellington Society member, saxophonist /clarinetist/composer/arranger Frank Griffith. Frank has had an illustrious career in jazz on both sides of the Atlantic, from playing lead alto in the Glenn Miller Band to working with greats as varied as Ron Carter, Lionel Hampton and John Dankworth. This evening he will be performing a set of Ellington pieces accompanied by Keith Nichols on piano.

Venue: The Auditorium at Foyles, Level 6, 107 Charing Cross Road

Due to the last minute change in programming, tonight’s event will be FREE.
