New Writing: Sports Writing and Football Journalism with George Rinaldi, Adam Digby and Gabriele Marcotti

Friday 21st October 2016 7pm - 8pm Kingsway Hall Hotel Literary Event, Signing, Free Event

Join three new voices in sports writing for a beer, a slice of pizza and plenty of football chat. George Rinaldi, Adam Digby and Gabrielle Marcotti will be discussing their experience writing about the beautiful game and the process of getting published for the first time.

George Rinaldi is a 21-year-old sports journalist currently writing for Football Italia, Yahoo Sport UK and FourFourTwo, as well as US sports magazines Howler and Soccer360. Calcio's Greatest Forwards is his first book, published this year.

Adam Digby is a football writer who also contributes to FourFourTwo, IBWM, 8by8 magazine and many more. Last year he published his first book, Juventus: A History in Black and White. No surprises, he’s a huge Juventus fan.

They will be joined by Gabriele Marcotti. Along with Gianluca Vialli, he is the author of the fan favourite The Italian Job, an exploration of two great footballing cultures.

We’ll be kicking things off with a round table discussion then opening the floor to you – be sure to come with your questions ready. Post-match our panellists will be signing copies of their books.

Venue: Please note this event has been relocated to the Kingsway Hall Hotel due to flooding at our Charing Cross Road Store. A member of staff will be available to redirect you from Foyles.
Tickets: This is a free event. Simply add the required number of tickets below to your basket.

Please note, no physical tickets will be issued, the email confirmation you receive is proof of your booking.

We are unable to issue refunds to customers unable to attend the event without at least 24 hours' notice. To request a refund of your ticket purchase or purchases, email with your details and request.
