Chelmsford Opening Festival: Celebratory Reception with Jeffrey Archer

Friday 30th September 2016 11:30am - 1pm Bond Street Chelmsford Literary Event, Free Event

We are delighted to welcome you to a Celebratory Reception in our brand new Chelmsford Store with special guest, global literary phenomenon, Lord Jeffrey Archer.

Jeffrey Archer first catapulted to success with his first novel, Not A Penny More, Not A Penny Less in 1975, and has stayed firmly at the top of bestsellers charts ever since. Impressively, he is the only UK author to have been a number one bestseller in fiction, non-fiction and short stories. His latest novel, Cometh the Hour has just been published in paperback, and is the sixth and penultimate instalment in the epic number-one bestselling Clifton Chronicles.

Both Jeffrey Archer and Christopher Foyle will be giving short welcoming speeches and inviting you to enjoy the latest addition to the Foyles family. There will also be the opportunity for you to get books signed by Jeffrey Archer.

Join us for a lunch time celebration with complimentary canapés and bubbles, and welcome your new local bookshop to the Chelmsford high street.

By booking your place to this reception, you will automatically be entered into a competition to WIN a selection ten paperback copies of Jeffrey Archer's backlist titles. To be in with the chance of winning, you must be present at the reception by 11.15am. We will randomly select the winner and make an announcement during the course of the event.

Tickets: This is a free event. Simply add the required number of tickets to the basket below.

Venue: Foyles, 86 Bond Street, Chelmsford, Essex, CM1 1GH
