Carols from Kings

Monday 5th December 2016 7pm - 8pm 107 Charing Cross Road Literary Event, Music Event, Chargeable Event

Take a journey through the fascinating history of Christmas carols with author and ex-chorister, Alexandra Coghlan, and James Jolly, editor of Gramophone magazine.

The sound of a lone voice singing Once in Royal David's City amid the candlelit chapel of King's College, Cambridge, marks the start of Christmas festivities for many people in Britain. This year we're bringing King's College to London as a quartet of choristers sing some well known Christmas tunes while Alexandra and James describe the stories behind these seasonal favourites.

Come along for a glass of mulled cider and join in the festivities as Alexandra, James and their choir come to spread Christmas cheer.

Venue: The Auditorium at Foyles, Level 6, 107 Charing Cross Road
Tickets: £5 per ticket. Simply add the required number to the basket below.

Please note, no physical tickets will be issued, the email confirmation you receive is proof of your booking.
