Roll & (IM)Press Arts Workshop with Kaatje Vermeire

Sunday 19th February 2017 2pm - 3:30pm Cabot Circus, Bristol Children's Event, Free Event

Illustrator, Kaatje Vermeire will be running a hands-on arts workshop inviting children to answer the question, ‘what will the world look like in 2543?’, and inspiring them to be as creative and inventive as possible!

Kaatje Vermeire is a Flemish picture book illustrator whose work has been translated into over a dozen languages. She has an unusual way of creating illustrations, combining drawing & graphic techniques to provide an extra 'layer' to the story/text.

In this workshop Kaatje will encourage children to use recycled materials such as old wallpaper to create their own little textured masterpieces using the technique of rolling and pressing.

This workshop is suitable for children aged 7+.

Tickets: This is a free event, simply add the required number of tickets to the basket below. Please only book tickets for your child(ren). Please note, no physical tickets will be issued (to save the trees!). Your email confirmation is proof of booking.

Venue: Foyles, Brigstowe Street, Cabot Circus, Bristol, BS1 3BH

This event was made possible with the support of the Government of Flanders and the Flemish Literature Fund
