Ryannon Styles and Laura Jane Williams join us for this revealing event where they'll be discussing the importance of being true to yourself and what it means to document your life for the public eye.
In 2012, Ryan chose to be Rhyannon. At the age of thirty Rhyannon began her transition, taking the first steps on the long road to her true self, and the emotional, physical and psychological journey that would change her forever. From cabaret drag acts and brushes with celebrities, to struggles with addiction and crippling depression, Rhyannon tells her story in her memoir, The New Girl.
Laura Jane Williams has written about love, lust, and her feelings everywhere from The Guardian, Buzzfeed and RED, to the Telegraph, Stylist and more. From September 2016 to February 2017 Laura lay her dating life bare for Grazia readers in her regular single girl dating column. She is author of Becoming, her story of how she came to figure out who she really is. Her new book, Icecream for Breakfast, is the guide that every grown-up needs to remind themselves of the freedom and joy that comes with rediscovering your inner child.
Cyan Turan of Red Magazine will be chairing the event. Ryannon and Laura will be signing copies of their books on the night.
