Cookbook Confidential for London Food Week
Join us for an afternoon of talks and tastings with some of London’s greatest cookbook writers and chefs as we once again partner up with Octopus Publishing to bring you a very special Cookbook Confidential event as part of London Food Week.
11.30am – Arrive and have brunch in the Foyles Café with recipes from Dan Doherty’s Toast Hash Roast Mash
12.30pm – How to launch your own London supperclub – and why social media is your best friend
Sabrina Ghayour chef and bestselling award-winning author of Persiana and Sirocco, Zoe Adjonyoh of Zoe’s Ghana Kitchen, Selin Kiazim of Oklava discuss getting started and how to use social media to your advantage. Chaired by Julia Leonard.
2pm – London Under the Influence
From Turkish-Cypriot cuisine to Ghanaian pop-ups, join online food magazine The Gannet as they discuss the food influences that are shaking up the capital.
Featuring award-winning author Olia Hercules, Masterchef’s Emma Spitzer and Brixton based chef Zoe Adjonyoh.
3.30pm – Where London Chefs Eat
Richard H. Turner of Pitt Cue, Hawksmoor and Foxlow and author of Pitt Cue The Cookbook, HOG and Prime, Selin Kiazim of Oklava, Cyrus Todiwala author of Mr Todiwala’s Spice Box and Tomer Amedi of The Palomar discuss their favourite foodie spots. Chaired by Julia Leonard.
5pm – Spirit of London
Drinks tasting with spirits from the distilleries of London with award-winning drinks writers Joel Harrison & Neil Ridley, authors of Distilled.
Tickets: £10 per session or £25 for the whole day (brunch not included in the ticket price)
