NYJO London Jazz Jam

Sunday 24th September 2017 12 Noon - 3pm 107 Charing Cross Road Ray's Jazz Event, Music Event, Free Event

Get ready for our next NYJO Jazz Jam with the brilliant pianist Simon Purcell! Former Head of Jazz at Trinity-Laban college, we’re certain he knows all the trade secrets for what makes a world class musician! Joining him is Amy Baldwin double bass and ex-NYJO David Dyson on drums.

Whatever your instrument or ability this is the perfect opportunity to feel at home with a pro! These sessions are open to all under-18’s so spread the word to friends, family and fellow musicians!

Parents, passers-by and jazz fans are all welcome to stay and enjoy the terrific (and free) music from 12- 3pm. Simon and his quartet will kick-start the session with a set at midday, then the floor will open to all those who want to jam.

Venue: The Auditorium, Level 6
