Staff Choice

I'm taking the unusual step of writing a staff pick before I have actually finished reading the book. I have just 10 pages left to go. I am currently bathing in the anticipation of being able to read those last 10 pages on the bus home tonight. I'm surprised I can concentrate on work, to be honest!

This is a wonderfully written, tense, psychological thriller that twists and turns like a twisty turny thing. You know those films where your heart is in your throat as you realise the lead character is about to put themselves in real danger? Where you are desperate to know what happens next but at the same time don't want to know because you know it will be really bad? Where you are so sure you know what's going to happen next but...

Well, it's like that. But better.
